On March 30, 2022, Aeris officially opened its new workplace at 1849 Cherry Street, Unit #6, Louisville, Colorado. The new office features 20 adjustable-height work stations, four breakout rooms and one conference room. The large common room has oversize rollup doors that can be opened when the weather is nice. The server room has a dedicated 4-ton A/C system to accommodate additional GPU processors critical to expanding Aeris’s scientific modeling solutions. Said Co-Founder George Bieberbach, “as a growing company, the timing of the opening aligns perfecting with our space requirements and project workload.”
“The office design acknowledges the industrial nature of the building while providing warm spaces and colors. I wanted to create a comfortable environment that encourages collaboration and creativity”, said Erica Bieringer who designed the interior working closely with the architect and builder. In keeping with the Aeris culture of minimal hierarchy, no individual has a private office. The breakout rooms support concurrent activities, as Aeris employees are not confined to working on one project or in one technical lane at a time.
“The new office serves our evolving hybrid of work/home office requirements, accommodating employees who want to work part- or full-time in the office, plus our visiting employees from Illinois, Florida, Connecticut, Tennessee and Nebraska” said Managing Director Paul Bieringer.
