"In 2020 I joined Aeris after admiring, over the previous 5 years, how the company approaches technical and programmatic challenges. I'm excited about helping Aeris expand business with current clients while applying its significant scientific and engineering capabilities to new problem sets and customers.”
Mr. Kreyenhagen received his B.A. of Applied Mechanics in BioEngineering from the University of California San Diego in 1979. His career started at S-Cubed as a nuclear engineer designing radiation test chambers and experiments for 12 major underground nuclear tests sponsored by the Defense Nuclear Agency (DNA). He traveled to the worksite to oversee construction. He wrote 45,000 lines of C to create a 3-D computer-aided design program based on the Silicon Graphics GL library to design tests, define input geometries and visualize time-dependent output from radiation transport codes.
In the 1990s, he built an 18 person team that developed science and math-based educational software for textbook publishers McGraw-Hill and Addison Wesley. In the 2000s while at Titan/L-3, he built a team of 12 software engineers and scientists plus 5 subcontractor teams to manage the $10M HPAC (Hazard Prediction Assessment Capability) contract for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency). In the 2010s, he moved to Sage Management (now Xator), and again built from scratch a team of over 20 developers and scientists. Rising to the level of vice president, he was responsible for hiring and managing personnel, providing technical guidance, guiding customer and partner relations, developing proposals, performing contract negotiations, and monitor finances.
In 2020, Mr. Kreyenhagen accepted a position as a senior staff member at Aeris responsible for a wide range of software development and integration projects involving diverse and dispersed development teams across multiple geographic locations. He provides tactical and strategic advice/guidance as part of the Aeris Management Team.
