“I joined the Aeris team to work in an environment where inspired, quality solutions to unique and difficult problems are valued over tiresome solutions for common problems.”
Mr. Moellenkamp received his B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Computer Engineering from Montana State University (MSU) in 2016. For his capstone, he worked through MSU’s Software Factory in collaboration with S2 Corporation to develop an extensible architecture for their Extreme Bandwidth Analyzer and Correlator, a software system designed to visualize signal amplitude and frequency information.
From 2014-2015 he worked as an intern for TechLink Center, first as a member of the Software Testbed and later as a member of the Software Engineering and Analysis Laboratory, a collaborative project with MSU. During this time he worked on a small team to create a testing suite for the Army Corps of Engineers’ Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) BUILDER Sustainment Management System.
From 2015-2016 he worked as an intern for Oracle Corporation on the Hosting Management System team, which managed development and maintenance of the cloud platform responsible for automated distribution of the Oracle Service Cloud.
Upon graduation from MSU in May 2016, Mr. Moellenkamp accepted a position at Aeris as a Software Engineer. Since this time, he has provided several data processing prototypes for Dr. Bieringer, and has worked closely with Mr. Hurst on a real-time data processing and display tool in addition to the Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Effects Model (JEM) software system.
