Benjamin Kandel
Software Developer I
Mr. Kandel received a B.S in Computer Science from Michigan State University in 2021. While there, he worked as an undergraduate learning assistant, helping teach students computer architecture. He was a front-end developer for his capstone project, where he and his team attempted to predict the presidential election and stock market movements by analyzing spam emails. He also co-founded the MSU FGC, and played alto saxophone in the campus band – he also plays piano and guitar.
Mr. Kandel has enjoyed working on the front-end side of software development but is always looking to learn new technologies. His previous projects include a program to monitor Michigan State’s course scheduling website in order to secure spots in classes, as well as a website to visualize stats for an online gaming community.
Mr. Kandel accepted a position at Aeris in August of 2021.
